On 17 April 2014 I was privileged to view the display of Mustangs from
throughout the USA at Los Vegas International Speedway for the hosting
of the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Ford Mustang. I recall that at
time it being the best ever display of Mustangs I’d witnessed.
Last weekend, Sunday 17 April 2016 my earlier memory was erased and
replaced by the World Class display of Mustangs that gathered here in
Christchurch for our inaugural World Mustang Day. It was fantastic
having participants from within the Mustang Community as well as the
Mustang Club. Great having everyone together.
Mustang Owner’s; Drivers and families of Canterbury and environs you did
yourself proud. The turnout of around 200 Mustangs was an incredible
spectacle.
Without doubt the Ford Mustang fraternity is alive and well here in
Canterbury and throughout New Zealand.
Congratulations to all of you who took part on 17 April 2016.
You are the reason the legend lives on.
See you in again in 2017.
