MARCH. 29 to 9 April 04: Great NZ Mustang Run

Tuesday/Wed 30th/31st  40th Anniversary of the Mustang came to town. We covered as a club from Waihi to Whakatane to Rotorua.  This event went off really well in brilliantly fine weather. A great success and a credit to the club..

Full Coverage of the event is here

A good turn out of Mustangs to participate in the grass kana provided plenty of entertainment for all. Pictured is Bart's oldest daughter showing Bart how its done, with his youngest daughter having a go as well. For many of the partners it was a rare chance to drive the cars as well and all proved to be worthy competitors with some more controlled driving than some of their sideways male partners. Except for a bit of cleaning afterwards all enjoyed the day which was finished of with an excellent Bar B Que.

Mid week event . Meet on Cameron road Tauranga outside racecourse by the church at 6.45. Run over the Kaimais.
